Bidra med feedbackOverpriced, unauthentic, not fresh Italian food.My partner and I went to this place based on reading reviews and to be honest they couldn’t me more misleading. The only review that we agree with is from Audrey Reider. The bread was frozen and burned. The food didn’t taste fresh, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce wasn’t a sauce, it was a water soup. Overall, couldn’t be further from Italian food and there are way better places in Austin for much better prices. From the moment we called for a reservation, the staff was rude to us. The service was medicore for the rest of the night. We are geniuinely very confused about the reviews this place has.For reference, we have been to good and great places like; Vespaio, Samie’s, Intero, Red Ash, Il Bruto, North Italia, Juliet.
My wife and I stopped by unplanned and didn’t know this restaurant existed. It was near us at the time. Restaurant location is close to the Mueller HEB. The food was very good, had a authentic Italian taste. We had chicken fettuccine with Caesar salad. They make their croutons and bread in house so it was very good. My wife really liked the Cosmo (raspberry). The only downside in my opinion was the size of the restaurant it seemed like all of the tables were really close together when the restaurant filled quickly for the dinner rush. Other than that everything we ordered was on point. We will probably dine there again when in the area. Lastly the prices were very reasonable as well.
Got food to go and was blown away by the flavor and taste. Definitely a recommended spot. Caesar Salad was amazing. Amanté della Carne was so flavorful.Food: 5/5
Best kept Italian secret in Austin! Delicious food, fine wine, excellent service in a low key cozy Italian atmosphere. If you’re lucky enough to find it, definitely treat yourself!
I liked the quaint, intimate atmosphere, but there was a problem with my food. My son tells me never to order steak at an Italian restaurant, but I didn't heed that advice. How can one mess up a filet mignon? Anyway, my filet mignon seemed to be so full of sinew that I could barely slice it. Not good. I eat my steaks medium-medium rare which was fine and not the problem. It cost $48.00! I did like the risotto and asparagus that came with it, though.
