Ihop - Austin

Ordered curbside. pick up order was supposed to be ready for pick up by 11:49. Arrived at 11:46. system texted me saying thank you for arriving your order will be out soon... well half an hour later still no order. Was on hold on the phone for 15 of those minutes no one ever picked up. Had to go inside for something that was supposed to be picked up only for the food to be cold. Manager stated the texting system did not work and their phone had been stolen. And yet there is a giant window at the hostess stand where you can clearly see there is a car waiting in curbside.

Came here today first time...big lady server, horrible horrible service. I came with my 2 year old daughter. No greeting, no smile, another table came 1 guy 5 minutes later and she went straight to him and not us after waiting almost 10 minutes with a hungry toddler. She gave me attitude while taking order. Never checked on our table and not even said thank you after I paid, I still gave her tips. Maybe she's racist because we're mix Asian looking or she just hates children, and my daughter didn't even make a mess.

Went there for breakfast this morning. Was sat pretty quick. The guy that waited on us was lightning fast. OJ and coffee real quick. Food came out fast too. I watched this guy and the tables were being bussed real fast. Not like other locations I have been to.

The staff never acknowledged me the whole 15 minutes I was standing at the front desk. So we sat down at a table and nobody even said a word to us except it will still be a 30 minute wait. Nobody even said a word to us to even say there was a wait. There was 5 tables with customers. If the waitress can’t handle 5 tables she is in the wrong business. I have been coming here for 18 years and will NEVER step foot in there again.

Unlike Denny's, i've NEVER been disappointed here. Consistent with the freshness, quality and goodness of their menu items. They do get busy so careful with the peak hours....make extra time.
