Such amazing service. I came with a big party and our server, Mario, was such accommodating with all of our needs. 10/10 recommend JOI at the domain for any event including birthday parties. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Ordered a pretty wide variety of food and the dumplings/gyozas were the worst I've had in any restaurant they fell apart when picked up and had no impressionable flavor. Additionally, the noodles were drenched in oil but the sashimi/sushi were alright.Cocktails were on the sweet side but fairly strong, decent but overpriced experience.Atmosphere was really bizarre: Spanish songs with EDM themes were blasting and everyone had to yell at each other to hear one another, our waitress was hoarse before we even ordered. It's a shame since the interior felt really classy and was nicely lit.Probably an especially poor experience for me since it was dinner time and they were busy, but I really don't see myself coming back with the kind of prices they have. Even at half price it's a hard maybe with the biggest pull being its interior.

Very fancy but the food was affordable, the staff were very friendly and helpful! I had a sashimi dish and it was delicious and very fresh!

Went for girl's night. Food and ambience was amazing. Wanted to take a photo of the chicken truffle dumplings but totally forgot as I couldn't wait to eat that delicious goodness. The vegetable tempura was yummy and they gave a lot of quantity. The fried rice and the sesame chicken were delicious.

This place was fantastic. we were in Austin for the weekend and went here two days in a row. it was so good. great service, cocktails and eating. spinat salat was bug enough to share. the mushroom appetizer, salmon. everything was delicious
