Bidra med feedbackBack from my January weekend trip in Austin, I remember that we had left Lazurus Brewing looking for a last stop to watch the Jaguars/Chargers game and some last minute drinks and eating. Arriving, it was packed, but we found a bank in front of the TVs so that we can unfold the game as my buddy went to order for us. Because of the cold temperatures outside, I went with an Irish coffee to warm up. Immersed in the coffee cocktail glass with the picked cream, it does what any Irish coffee does: wake me warm! Probably the best part of our station here. Foods were order, consisting of Parmesanfries and the fish Tacos. The fries have cripples, but the Parmesan-Add is a demolition as it's just a few sprinkles of it. What the fish tacos, the claw and salsa add taste, as the black fish is a little bland. Some reviews mention Bland Food here; I hope this is not a recurring topic, although in our case it was part of the tacos for the fish. Since there are many people here, especially on a Saturday night, you will be shoulder-to-shoulder with people inside or under a sea of people in their mid 20's-30's outside. So if you're looking for a quiet evening with your boo, go somewhere else. If you like the chaotic mix of different personalities that get their drink, then fit right here.
The Brussel shoots were good and the fish tacos we tasted but dry. I feel like a nice Chipotle Mayo hit the square with the Cajun fish. The wings were tasteful, but small
We went to dinner and it was very cool and windy, we sat outside. I wish there were more heaters? The food, so good! Def must try the warm Bavarian pretzels! I like the chicken wings! We also get chili cheeseries, RK Burger, which is really good!
Honestly, this place was EXACTLY, what my friends and I needed after a few drinks on the east side. The drinks were great, but the FOOD? 10/10.Service was also great, and there is plenty of space. Always grateful for this place! Order the Brussels sprouts! You won't regret it.
First of all, for service and vibes alone this place is a 10/10. If I was just reviewing the friendly bartenders it would definitely be all 5 stars for sure (and the DJ on Friday night was also killin' it). The food in general left me a little underwhelmed. I got an order of tots with Queso which came out super hot and crispy. The Queso was a little bland so I think I'd get ranch or ketchup in the future. I also got the fish tacos bc I was on a taco kick. They were also just fine. Those in our party who got the fried chicken sandwich seemed to love it so I think I missed out by not ordering that. The mule I got was a bit sweet, so I switched to well drinks after that, but they were reasonably priced. Would definitely hang here again
