Squarerut Kava - Austin

Try the Java and sample it on its own before adding coconut milk. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning for another drink. It's a fantastic alternative to alcohol or cannabis.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but I'm really glad we did. The staff was very welcoming and took the time to explain their different Kava drinks. It turned out to be a relaxing way to spend the afternoon or evening.

Nice and chill bar. Books and board games. Kava drink taste like roots.

I wouldn’t recommend paying with cash here, as they don’t provide change. Additionally, the barmaid's attitude leaves much to be desired; she's been quite unpleasant during my visits. I've been here about 5 or 6 times, but I won’t be returning due to her demeanor. It would be nice if she could be a bit friendlier and treat customers with respect for a change.

Nice vibe. Gotta be honest though kava tastes pretty awful but the setting , vibe , staff and location are all great. I wouldn't say kava is really for me and it's the price of going out and drinking, still a neat experience though
