My boyfriend and I have been searching for a Salvadoran restaurant in Austin, and we stumbled upon The Originals. I'm so glad we decided to stop by because the pupusas were absolutely delicious! They were incredibly fresh and perfectly made. They even offered chicken pupusas, which my American boyfriend was really excited about, since it's not something you find everywhere. When we tried the chicken pupusas, we were pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this place 100%! I wish I had taken some pictures to capture the food, but we devoured it before I even thought to snap a shot. If you're in the mood for authentic Salvadoran cuisine, look no further! Plus, the staff is really sweet!

I’m from Dallas, Texas, and I came to Austin for some fun. I was really hungry, so I Googled the best pupusas in Austin and found this amazing place! The customer service here is outstanding, and the food is delicious. I tried the yuca frita with chicharrón and pupusas revueltas, which were both yummy. The chicken tamales were also fantastic. Thank you so much! I’ll definitely recommend this wonderful spot and will be back for more. It was a great experience!
