Cafe des Tilleuls - Autun

Super pub in the center of autun local bier excellent server are good and friendly we had a good moment

Very unfriendly, unsatisfied staff. all eating was cold and even frozen (croque monsieur) and not as we asked. very dirty inside and toilets old and dirty. don't go there!

This small cafe overlooks Autun's large market square. The service is quick and friendly. Outside, I enjoyed the shady seating under fragrant lime trees. Indoors, there's good wifi (and a clean toilet). They offer simple lunch dishes (toasted sandwiches, etc) and the host brews a...nice cappucino.

Ordered capuchino's and had to wait about 40 minutes. Not impressed in the whole. Nice terrace under the trees. Autun as a city is worth visiting. The Market on Friday and the foodhall sell fresh local produce.

Nice location and friendly staff, but unfortunately really bad coffee (cappuchino's at least) and crêpes. I'm not sure how the cappuchino's were made, but I strongy suspect instant coffee with some added cream. I added a photo to show how it was served, it tastes as bad as it looks. For €3,20 quite a disappointment.The crêpe was obviously premade and warmed up.If you decide to visit this place anyway, I can (for now) only recommend to try something else than we had. (Cold beer or wine perhaps?)
