Bidra med feedbackPopular spot that can get busy really quick. Wait time for a table of 2 was about 20 minutes. No wait at the bar but is first come first serve. Employees are friendly. We sat at the bar. The seating was a little tight so it's a challenge to get aroundpeople but once you get seated your good. Food took about 10-15 minutes to get. Decent portions for the price. I woulddefinitely frequent this spot.
1st thing you need to do is try the Buffalo Milk (island drink). The steak was prepared well, the omelet was meaty and the pancakes were full of flavor. My only suggestion is to have jam/jelly available.
I ordered the build-your-own omelet along with some Irish coffees. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. It's conveniently located not far from the Catalina Express docks, allowing me to enjoy a great breakfast before my departure.
My friend and I arrived hungry at Catalina Island! We signed up for the waiting list since reservations can't be made in advance, then spent about 15 minutes browsing the nearby shops. After a short wait, we were seated. We ordered eggs, bacon, French toast, and biscuits, and everything was delicious. The place was bustling and spacious.
The breakfast offerings had a nice variety. Here’s a breakdown of my ratings: Location: 8/10 Interior Design: 4/10 Cleanliness: 5/10 Food (Flavor and Presentation): 13/30 Service: 13/20 Price: 11/20 Conclusion: To be honest, the food didn't look very appealing, but the flavors were satisfying. Given that it was one of the few restaurants open at that time, we anticipated high prices, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice window seat and reasonable costs. The biscuits and gravy were interesting, to say the least, and arguably the least visually appealing dish. The biggest drawback was the hash brown, which was burnt and tasted awful. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
