Bidra med feedbackTim's sandwiches and hoagies are made to order on deliciously fresh bread. The Italian hoagies are the best in Avalon/Stone Harbor. Very quick and friendly service! Deli meats sliced to order just not during lunch rush, which is completely understandable. This shop is always busy and has become a staple in Avalon.
Favorite (newish hoagie spot on the island; beats out Moran 's. I shall now dream about Seven Mile hoagies during he offseason. : I ordered an Italian loaded (LTO, sweet hot peppers, oil and vinegar from here and Moran 's (former #1 for me . I ate half of each hoagie immediately, and the other half of each hoagie the next day for lunch. Here are my findings: Taste: about the same, tbh. Both places use the same deli meats, peppers, and other ingredients. Construction: Moran 's was a bit more loaded, but not in a good way. The hoagie sort of falls apart as you eat it. Seven Mile 's hoagie was perfectly constructed, though, stuffed but still structurally sound. 2nd day: Here 's where Seven Mile starts to walk away with it. I noticed at the end of the first half of Moran 's hoagie, that the roll had started to get mushy because the sandwich maker used a bit too much oil vinegar. By the 2nd day, half of the hoagie roll was totally inedible; very mushy and unappetizing. Seven Mile 's, however, was still crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just as tasty.
I went there for lunch today and ordered the Italian hoagie with chips. I split the hoagie with my wife and we both enjoyed the sub and thought it was zesty and filling. I would gladly eat. There again.
Edit: under new management. Prices went up and food quality went down. They couldn't even get my order right with me standing there.
Good food and service. Very polite and attentive. Offer to cut even the crust off my son's sandwich
