Bidra med feedbackThis place is a very ordinary "brasserie" with a good chef preparing a daily special for lunch six days per week. His food is well-prepared and nicely presented and served. At the same time, this is not a "gourmet" restaurant, really just a friendly and hearty bistrot-type meal at lunch, when one can have soup, the main course, 25 cl of wine and coffee for less than 15 euros. Unfortunately, the bar area gets crowded with a bunch of the local "losers" who spend their days floating from one bar to the next and can get rather noisy. It's best to find a table as far from the bar as possible.
We were pretty late on a Monday night, so there wasn't so much food in the kitchen. But the cook made us a great delicious meal from what he had left. We have something from everything. An amazing Pasta Pesto, a grilled fish and the best big srimps I've ever tasted. To complete it, we have a delicious Tiramisu! The waiter was the cook himself and although he couldn't speak English, we can make a great conversation! I highly recommend it!
The host makes you feel at home. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Great place! The shrimps were exceptionally good.
Stay in Avignon for 4 days. I ate in Avignon last night. Best meal we had in Avignon. Fantastic delicious food well presented. We were made to feel part of the owner's family. So friendly. A nice evening. Very recommended.
