Bidra med feedbackWe were super excited about this dinner based on the recommendations of friends, a 16th. Birthday party for my nephew. The service was throughout the meal, food landed cold on the table, and the “can you do something special” birthday request (undiscovered in advance call and also put in open table) was ignored or forgotten until they were remembered and then we were miserable and wanted to go. If you order the shrimp, please note that they come with “head” that you have to do with before you can make Fajitas. The whole thing was super depressing and I felt most regret for my nephew!
Was to stay in Westin with my family and our reservation for 7 a.m. instead of 7 p.m. I went down that afternoon to see if I could get in for this evening and the Lord (who turned out to be a bartender) at the host booth was not able to work an open table, but said by looking at him there was enough space and coming back before 6:00. (It was about 4 a.m. to the time) we drove back at 5.30 p.m. and the hostess was incredibly rude and would not accommodate us (a party of 2) because some “very big parties” come and we would not sit until 7.30 p.m. We decided to sit in the Lookout Bar and continue to observe that Maya is not busy at all and many of her waiters are standing around. So she not only took money from the waiter's bag by not sitting, she was a bad representation of the hotel. Not helpful. I understand how restaurant dining rooms work and run a reservation system and the fact that some of these 5 tops appeared an hour after us simply shows how bad the staff maximizes sales.
We all know that there is a lack of staff at the Valley and that workers are tired but being in the hospitality industry you should hire much more kind people to serve guests
Food is mediocre and expensive. The side of rice and black beans are $10 for a small bowl of black beans poured from a can and rice nothing special. The enchiladas are good but nothing special. The fajitas didn’t have enough meat. Service is good but took awhile to get entrees.
Need to remain in its current style, do not switch to steakhouse
