Good food and good service! I got the chicken and and order of biscuits and gravy and they were spot on.

Ok so we will go in order starting with food the fact that you can mess up bacon blow my mind I have never had bacon that taste like beef jerky that was not actually jerky like zero effort it’s like they cook the bacon then when you order it they put it in the microwave pure lazy cheap cut just horrible needless to say it just went down hill from there Service is basic they are nice but no real interactions not that southern hospitality you hear so much about the place if I could image what hell was like it would be this place it is hot as hell in this place just very disappointing

New review 08/2024): This used to be my favorite breakfast/brunch spot. However, the last three times I've been in the food just isn't as good as it used to be. I brought out-of-town guests there and kept my fingers crossed that the third time would be the charm and they'd be up to their old standards, but was disappointed again. Not sure what they've done, but the food just isn't as good as it used to be. : Old review: Rising Son is delicious. Their breakfasts are interesting and a step above almost every other breakfast place I have ever visited.

Don't sit by the window in the summer. It's hot! But the food is definitely worth it. Parking: Park behind Towne cinema
