Fancy's On 5th - Avondale

Ribeye steak With Fancy's Fries and the back plate is the El Guapo burger. The El Guapo was delicious, totally worth it. The Steak on the other hand in my opinion was not worth it for the price, I paid about for the steak since its market priced. Not as tender and juicy as I would have liked it, somewhat chewy. The in house steaksauce they make is a great compliment and added alot of flavor to the steak, otherwise the steak itself tasted decent.

Food selection was very small. It was hard to carry on a conversation because it was so loud.

Service was great. Seating uncomfortable. for two small meals and it didn’t come with a salad or drink. I mean I had a steak on fries and the other was fish on salsa . The music was way too loud and couldn’t converse. For that price I would have dined at Highlands or The Botega.

Fancy’s is a good space filler dinner. Nothing too special service is fine but not great. I enjoyed the Greek salad with blackened shrimp and the fries were great

The food was excellent. We had burgers and they were exceptionally good. . We had a reservation and were seated promptly. The restaurant was so loud that you couldn't hear others at the table. Loud music and yelling customers made communication a challenge. The seating in the patio area is outdoor quality with metal chairs which were a little uncomfortable. Indoor seating appeared more comfortable. Overall a good find for a really good burger.
