Bidra med feedbackI haven't been here long, but I had completely forgotten how wonderful it is. The expectations are quite high across the board.
At the top of my list, Agriturismo has been my favorite restaurant for years. The crab cakes are the best I've ever had, and I always recommend trying them with one of the specialty dishes. My wife had the pheasant, which was truly exceptional, and I enjoyed an elk dish that exceeded all my expectations. While it may be a bit pricey for those on a tight budget or families with young children, the quality of the food makes it worth the extra few dollars. The ambiance is fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place really creates a special evening.
The food was delicious, and the waitress did her best to accommodate our large group of nine. The dining room table was bigger than the one in the Round Room, which made it challenging to engage in conversations with everyone. My three children wanted to split the bill, but we were informed that only one card could be used, which was a bit awkward.
We have the cheese steak. It comes with fries or sweet potatoes. They were made of sweet potato fries, so we got the regular fries. The Cheesesteak had a certain charm. Like your lover, but creepy, stinky, but maybe he's the good smelling uncle who drinks beer on your champagne brunch. The role was quite normal. I think they melted the cheese on the roll. The good news is that the role got a little toast. Meat and roasted onions for your standard fat spoon meat fried onions. The onions spent a long time on the grill. In another setting they would have added a lot of taste to the meat. This cheese steak was mostly out of the house.
My wife and I had our wedding reception in The Greathouse 20+ years ago. We went back for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere. It is as charming today as it ever was. My surf and turf was perfectly prepared. Our waiter was a perfect gentleman. I recommend calling ahead for reservations.
