Lovely pub restaurant we haven’t been here since our daughter was young .friendly warm welcoming staff , Dinner was very good rack of ribs and ham egg and chips bigger menu If you want . Ambience was lovely . Won’t leave it so long to visit next time

This English pub is truly wonderful. It offers a unique blend of traditional thatched charm, delicious food, lovely gardens, and a fun atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming environment where all worries seem to melt away as soon as you walk through the door. We had a fantastic birthday lunch with family members ranging from 82 to 16 years old. Thank you for a memorable experience - we all left with smiles on our faces.

Situated facing the village green, it is a charming sight straight out of a postcard. The pub offers a selection of ales from the Fullers brewery, including the top-notch Dark Star Hophead. The menu is reasonably priced and includes all the traditional pub favorites along with additional options such as pizzas and sandwiches for lunch. The staff are friendly and hospitable, making for a welcoming dining experience.

What a great surprise… popped in for an afternoon pint in the autumn sun and at a loss as what to cook tonight I saw the Saturday night steak deal… two steaks and a bottle of wine for £35!! Impressed by the offering we booked and returned… great bottle of red and two of the best quality steaks we’ve had out for a long time… lovely peppercorn sauce too! Staff were great, thank you and well done… we’ll be back very soon.
