The Royal Oak - Aylesbury Vale

My friends and I visited this pub for lunch and found that we were the only customers there. Despite this, the staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. We chose to sit at a prime spot outside in their charming little garden. The lunch we ordered was simple, yet delicious in its rustic preparation. I was thoroughly impressed by the experience and would definitely recommend this place to others.

After a long and exhausting journey from Scotland, we were grateful to have a meal at The Royal Oak in Tingewick. This charming country pub is situated in a picturesque setting with a convenient parking lot across the street. The staff gave us a warm welcome and our reserved table was ready upon our arrival. Both employees treated us with kindness and respect as they took our orders. The food arrived promptly and was both plentiful and delicious. The quality of the dishes was top-notch, with my wife particularly enjoying the peppercorn sauce. By the end of our starters, main course, and dessert, we were completely satisfied. A pleasant conversation with the chef further demonstrated the level of attention to detail at this establishment. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

We stopped in minutes to go when The Royal Oak stopped serving food. The staff were so nice making us something to eat when they could have refused to serve us. Thank you very much! It was also a very safe place to eat in times of covid.

We found this near to Silverstone and will definitely be going back. The service was excellent. Sandra the landlady cooked our meal for us. I have a gluten intolerance and she could not have been more helpful. There was so much GF to choose from (usually its ham egg and chips if you're lucky! Their steaks are to die for.
