Mcdonald's - Aynor

Tried the new chicken bacon Cajun sandwich with lemonade! Chicken was cold inside weird and the fries ? undercooked and there were black dotes in the lemonade! I call manger she said it was Only coffee grinds spilled in ice !! She offered nothing!? To satisfy my disappointment ?

Food was hot but not fast. They push you toward kiosk to pre order. No thanks, if I can't talk to someone, I'll spend my money somewhere else.

We have passed this location a lot on road trips, and have never stopped before. I was feeling particularly hungry leaving Myrtle Beach heading back to North Carolina, so we decided to stop. I ordered a McChicken, a McDouble with no mustard and no pickle, and a ten piece chicken McNugget. I ordered on the app because I'm not great at talking to people, and customizing my order on the app is easier than telling the poor cashier (which used to be me some time ago) my customizations. We came through the drive-through and got our food within minutes. The process was simple and easy, and with the coupons that McDonald's offers in their app, it makes it somewhat reasonable in price too. I always am happy to have no mistakes in my order, and this was one of those times. The people working were great. Definitely had a nice experience here!

I did a mobile order at 6 am and no one acknowledged me at speaker or window. The lights were on but no employees to be seen.At 6:17 am an employee came to window and said it would be ready shortly. 3 other cars drove off because they could not get service. I would have drove off but I ordered on the app. I finally got my order at 6:22 am. I only ordered drinks. While waiting someone cut the lights on the outside back off. Employee said they were short staffed.

We often stop at this location in Aynor when traveling to and from the beach. I can always count on a consistent food preparation. This past Sunday, 2/4/2024, I ordered a Crispy Chicken Sandwich for my wife, and Fish Fillet for myself. Both preparations were horrible. Undercooked chicken and cold bun for the fish filet sandwich made them inedible. Fast Food requires a quality check to keep the product being presented consistent and safe.
