Wir hatten schon lange vor, den Kartoffelkäfer in Bad Salzungen aufgrund der vielen positiven Rezessionen, auszuprobieren. Spontan fragten wir nach einem Tisch und hatten Glück, das noch etwas für 2 Personen frei war. Ein gemütliches, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Lokal mit Nostalgie Charakter. Schon kurz nachdem wir Platz genommen hatten wurden wir höflich und zuvorkommend bedient, durften Nachfragen zu unsere Bestellung stellen und auch unproblematisch wegen Unverträglichkeiten etwas abändern. Unsere Gerichte kamen genauso wie bestellt und ohne lange Wartezeit bei uns an. Beide Gerichte haben uns überzeugt jederzeit wieder zukommen. Allerdings sollten wir dann vorher Planen und reservieren, da im laufe des Abends doch einige willige Gäste leider keinen Platz mehr bekamen. Reservierung empfohlen. Unser Fazit: Gemütliche Lokation, freundliches, kompetentes Personal und schmackhaftes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Der Kartoffelkäfer wird uns sicherlich bald wieder sehen.
