Bainbridge Senior Living Wyatt House

My mom has been at Wyatt House for 1 1/2 years. We are all pleased. All senior housing complexes, and health care in general, seem to have challenges. The admin team at Wyatt house has really listened to what the residents and their families desire. They recently changed the front door accessibility to 7pm and the chefs have been responsive to the resident's requests. We had a Thanksgiving meal there and it was fantastic. I see a lot being done to make the residents happy and satisfied. I'd like to see more outings and I believe they will keep their good efforts up to provide that. I can't say enough for the whole care team and for Cassie, who leads the way. She knows every patient personally and takes time to check in with them. She works diligently to provide the best for all the residents and I love her open door policy. This job is demanding. She does it with a smile...and she spent her Thanksgiving there greeting and serving residents and their families. Good, resident-invested staff make all the difference in senior housing.

I moved my mom on to the Island just over a year ago and she has really enjoyed living at Wyatt House.

Mom has been living at Wyatt House for a year. She is thriving and receiving excellent care. From housekeeping to management the staff is warm, friendly, and accessible. Because it’s a relatively small facility, Wyatt lacks a range of enrichment activities that larger facilities can offer but the trade off is an environment that feels more intimate, homey. Unfortunately due to its urban setting, there’s little opportunity for secure outdoor activities (walking, lawn games etc). Because residents are not provided with keys to enter the building, returning after business hours has taken up to 15 minutes for staff to open the front door. Finally Wyatt is an older building with no air conditioning and tired (but clean) interiors. Overall our family is very pleased with the care mom receives at Wyatt House.
