Nirvana Indian Nepali Cuisine

This restaurant is the best Indian restaurant we have visited in the past 10 years. Every dish exceeded our expectations, from the fresh and crispy sweet pakoras to the flavorful chai, palak paneer, and coconut curry. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the staff was attentive. We only wish this restaurant was located in our community!

My parents recently flew from India to the USA. We decided to visit Bainbridge Island and stumbled upon Nirvana for dinner on the weekend. The food was amazing and my parents really enjoyed their meal. It was our first time trying Nepalese cuisine and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

This restaurant is amazing! I loved it so much that I came back today and brought my family. We all enjoyed the butter masala and butter chicken - it was perfect! The paneer pakora was so delicious that we forgot to take a photo before devouring it. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Indian food varies from restaurant to restaurant, but this is now my favorite spot. We drove from Gig Harbor for my birthday dinner and they even brought out a little dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday to me. The owner was friendly and the service was excellent. Despite mixed reviews, I highly recommend giving this place a try. The food was perfect for me and the prices were reasonable. Thank you for two amazing meals!

The two stars are for the best butter huh I ever had and for the ease of the staff/owner. but unfortunately, although I have been here several times, the service is so slow and deorganized, we will not come back to quite awhile. I see the helpful sign on the door and I know that this is a hard time for restaurants. at our last attempt to dinate, we sat and said we could just order apps now, as the kitchen was muded, and could order after the arrival of the apps dinner. we ordered drinks and appetizers, and were told that one of the appetizers would last 20 minutes. after 35 min, no appetizers or drinks arrived and we left the restaurant after we had not ordered an evening meal yet! until then it was 7 o'clock. all this to say that I wanted to eat here love and use the groupon I got instead for taking. so delicious. but no longer try.

We got takeout to enjoy at our hotel and everything was quick and easy, also a really great price for Indian food. The naan was fantastic, my husband says the samosas were the best he’s ever had, the butter masala (veggie) was a little more tomato based than I’m used to but it was still really good!
