Bidra med feedbackIt doesn't look big or fancy from outside but a great Indian dinner place. Loved the Samosas. We ordered Palak panner and chicken korma, both the curries were extremely good. The rice was a good portion, enough to share with a friend. We also ordered the chapati but that wasn't upto the mark. Overall, a definite winner. It is gonna give all the Indian restaurants in Melbourne a run for their money.
Ordered butter chicken, vegetables curry and coconut rice for dinner. All the dishes tasted good, in fact one of our best meals in Bairnsdale so far for the 2 days we are here. Coconut rice had a good portion of shredded coconut mixed with rice but lack of fragrance. Chicken was good. Vegetable curry though is too pricey as there's only a few squares of potato and the rest are slices of carrot and peas for $16.50! But then again, most of the restaurants here in Bairnsdale range around $15-$25 for a dish. Service is nice and place is clean. Would come back again.
Delicious Indian. This is a bit of a hidden treasure!<br/ <br/ I'm a frequent visitor when I'm visiting East Gippsland. The Butter Chicken is my absolute favorite, the Lamb Madras or Vindaloo a good second. Whatever I get, it always comes with a serve of the coconut rice and bread.<br/ <br/ I can't wait for my next visit this little cafe, rivals the best places in Melbourne!
Best Indian I’ve had in a long time! Amazing food with very authentic flavour. Very nice setting with lovely river views, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Was there for lunch with my baby twins, venue is child friendly, cosy and calm. Will be back!
