Waffle House - Baker

We came to Waffle House on Labor Day. I expected it to be busy, but we were seated pretty quickly. The waitress took our order and came back about 5 times questioning what I ordered. I ordered an AllStar and my husband got a waffle with eggs and bacon. Neither one of us got our waffles and our food was cold. I wish I could give this place a 0 star review. Service: Dine in

The food was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the All Star dish, which included bacon, egg, and cheese, paired wonderfully with creamy grits. The service was attentive and friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, perfect for starting the day. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for breakfast!

I can’t even comment on the meal because we waited 45 minutes without any utensils. During that time, the grill cook continued to berate the waiter. Finally, I had enough and raised my voice, asking for something to eat with. In response, she started to verbally attack me. As a grown man, I decided to leave without paying for my meal. To make matters worse, when my employees went to pay for their food, they attempted to charge them for my meal as well. Both the waiter and the cook need to be let go. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a Waffle House in my 40 years.
