Cafe Express Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Bakersfield. The food and prices are fantastic!

My husband and I visited Cafe Express for the first time last night on a whim, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered shrimp fried rice, pork chops, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, and chicken lo mein, and everything was fantastic! We also tried a Boba milk tea, which was delicious. The portions were quite generous, and we had plenty of leftovers, all of which reheated perfectly. We'll definitely be ordering from here again!

This was my first taste of Asian cuisine since my retreat in Hilo, HI, and I will definitely order again. I usually try to take a photo of my food when it arrives, but after devouring just one of the eight deep-fried sesame balls, I completely forgot about taking pictures. I ended up finishing all eight, along with the cream cheese wontons, potstickers, and egg rolls. The food was fantastic!

I have some friends over and I ordered a family pack to go. I was a little surprised that they haven?t opened up for eating inside, for reasons unknown all meals are to go. They have tables blocking you from going any farther then the front area. They have displays dish?s up front containing their main entrees, but you can?t get close enough to check them out for freshness. My family pack consisted of Orange chicken, pot stickers, Kung pao chicken , white and fried rice were all good. The orange tofu was awful, no one liked it. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal and we will probably come back.
