Lobethal Bakery - BALHANNAH

If you are travelling in the Adelaide Hills and see a sign to Balhannah take the time to go there especially if its around lunch time although I am sure any time would be good to visit this great bakery.The bakery is very modern and very clean. We tried the Pies and Pasties followed by the Strawberry custard tarts and capucinnos All were delicious and the staff were very kind and helpful.. We asked for extra tomato sauce and were given the whole bottle, which suited my wife as she loves her tomato sauce.There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the whole bakery is very spaciousTry it, you will not be disappointed.

I always come past here for a fresh cut roll or a chilly cheese Kranski but am very disappointed that I have to travel to your other store in Stirling to have your amazing strawberry ice-cream. Put me out of my misery and buy a fridge!!!

This bakery is extremely popular, attracting many customers like a magnet or bees to honey. We stopped in for a short coffee and cake break and were impressed by the delicious coffee and German-influenced strudel cakes. They also offer a variety of options for brunch, lunch, and afternoon snacks. I would gladly return next time I am in the area.
