The Rusty Spud - BALLARAT CENTRAL

First time- just ordered take away to see how it was. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Purchased the Base model and the For The Love of Bacon. They were great and certainly did not leave you hungry once you had finished. Great value for money as well. The two staff members were very helpful and friendly. Will definately go again and try the restraunt mext time.

On a tight timeframe in between appointments, we entered, ordered and had our spuds served inside 10-15 mins. Service was friendly. The interior has a great atmosphere. A large tv has video hits playing offering background music. I believe there is also an outdoor area to enjoy sunny days. I had the pulled pork spud, hubby had the bolognese. The spuds were perfectly soft and both were thoroughly enjoyed. I finished off with a yummy Snickers slice... I’d very happily come back with friends for a friendly coffee catch up, the spuds are a bonus!

Quaint cafe in the CBD of Ballarat, not a huge menu but I like the roast spuds. Cafe has a certain ambience for either a meal, coffee and cake or snacks. The two ladies working when I last went for dinner, were very friendly and welcoming. Spud was well presented and totally delicious. Coffee to finish was beautiful. All in all, food , service, comfort and ambience are all top class. Will be on my regular visiting list.

We grabbed takeaway tonight. Our spuds were delicious and generously sized. The service was friendly and extremely fast. Whilst waiting it was toasty and warm inside a great place to dine in on a cold winters night.

Spuds ok yet not very flavoursome, will go back to try other menu items. Prices reasonable. Excellent on street parking.
