Yutaka Sawa - Ballarat

Great Sushi, the the best in Ballarat. I won't buy sushi anywhere else in the Ballarat/Wendouree area.

I absolutely love the Sushi at Yutaka Sawa.The staff would not even try to be friendlier and more helpful if they tried. They truly are beautiful people.I think this is the best sushi in town. The rice is "always" cooked to perfection every time I buy it. It is never under done and never a little crunchy like I've had out of town nor is it over cooked and sloppy.The fillings are super fresh and what I like is they constantly make new fresh rolls throughout the day rather than making bulk amounts in the morning and have it sit there all day.This is the place to go for a healthy treat.What amazes me is seeing children and traddies come here to grab their lunch. No longer are there stereotypes of who eats this amazing food. Everyone of all ages, gender and background have finally discovered how great it is as it is not what we thought it was as being 'raw fish'.Sushi is typically prepared and originated in Japan. It consists of cooked rice that is vinegared then is combined with other ingredients such as seafood (eg tuna or Salmon), meat (teriyaki beef or chicken) or vegetables.

Yutaka Sawa at Stockland Wendouree has the best Sushi in town.I highly recommend taking a drive to buy it here.The staff are always polite, helpful and kind to me and the Avocado sushi is so delicious.The sushi takes fresh and the rice is cooked to perfection.Those sesame seeds make such a difference.There is a delicious range of traditional, quality sushi and a handful of hot things like Gozas, patties, Spring rolls etc.The products at Yutaka Sawa are hand made fresh daily in store and often make me the ones I wanted if they are sold out.

Maybe we hit an off night, but we weren't wowed by this restaurant.
