Longueville House - Ballyclogh

We had a wonderful time at Longueville House. Aisling, William, and Jane were fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious, the rooms were luxurious, and there were lovely walking paths nearby. We highly recommend staying for at least a couple of nights to fully appreciate everything Longueville has to offer.

We were fortunate to experience the most beautiful weather during our stay, making it truly idyllic. However, the charm of the place was not just due to the sunshine, but also because of its high quality. The dinner was exceptional, with a intimate atmosphere and a chef who personally announced the menu as we enjoyed drinks in a cozy salon. Many of the ingredients used were sourced from the garden. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who were attentive without being intrusive. The room was spacious and the view from the hilltop location was breathtaking. I appreciated the convenience of being able to easily take a taxi from Mallow train station, as many country houses require guests to have a car. This accessibility was a nice touch.

I was very disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. I had a valid voucher that I was excited to use, but unfortunately they refused to accept it. I believe it is unfair that we are not allowed to use our vouchers whenever we choose, especially if we are willing to pay the remaining balance in cash. The restaurant should reconsider their policy on voucher usage.

Aisling and william are exceptional hosts! we were on the Friday night of dublin and aisling arranged us on the way to make sure that it involves us in the number of guests for dinner. we checked in quickly and were relaxed in the living room where we enjoyed a drink while william explained the dinner menu. it followed one of the best meal times I had eaten in earth, and the rest of the weekend brought more of it. this should be one of the most popular destinations in the world. we're coming back!
