Capt Dick's Crabs Galore - Baltimore

We didn't actually eat here, we were looking for a stop off on our trip. We were looking for a place to sit and eat, this is a carryout only establishment. So while that was disappointing, the tender behind the counter was super nice and recommended a great spot for us to sit and eat at that was nearby.

Everything was so good. The Crabs the Macaroni Shrimp salad. The Crab Cakes and corn on the cob.

We got 2 dozen of the XL today, $110 for a dozen. They were a decent size.but most of them were completely hallow. The biggest issue is the seasoning they use, I can’t describe what type of seasoning they use but it’s not just Old Bay or JO Spice. It must be a mix of cayenne, rock salt and black/red pepper. Regardless, it’s WAY TOO MUCH. I’m not sure who can actually eat these crabs without brushing them off but my family, who eat crabs on a weekly basis cannot stand this seasoning. You guys really need to relax on that. This crab place is the closest one to home for us but unfortunately we won’t be back. For the price we paid today, they should’ve been A LOT better, but they weren’t. Not for that price.

The worst crabs I've had in 35 years! I got 2 dozen large. Size of the crabs were fine, but they were all light, brittle, and mostly hollow when opened. The seasoning seemed to lack any salt. I took a chance because of the price, but I won't be coming back.

Crabs were delicious..always piping hot and cooked to order. The corn is also delicious and pick up some of their fresh crabcakes to cook at home
