Gangster Vegan Organics - Baltimore

This is my second time waiting in line only to be ignored for 5 minutes while the cashier was on her phone. I wanted to try the food but refused to be ignored. It was 12:45pm for lunch on Tuesday and I couldn't get served. I decided to take a few steps to the left and got a poke bowl instead. Gangster, if you are wondering why your store is not performing well, look no further than your employees who refuse to offer service. The included picture is of the poke bowl I purchased instead.

Got the kalelifornia soul bowl and it was tasty, not as flavorful as I expected. The only thing I was confused about was that it was raw but the beans and rice are definitely cooked ????good with me). Other places I?ve tried in Chicago that were raw were truly all raw so maybe just me. I got there at 11am and was able to order around slightly before noon, was super quick!

I ordered the burrito bowl and apple pie cheesecake. The bowl was so flavorful even my non vegan daughter loved it! And the cheesecake had the perfect amount of sweetness. Definitely one of the best Vegan restaurants in Baltimore.

Although I'm not a vegan, I support vegan businesses and it's even better when their food is really good. And extra cool for the name. As I said, the food is delicious but I want to single out the apple pie cheesecake (see pics below) as one of the best desserts I've ever had: creamy and luscious and not overly sweet. This item alone is worth the visit to this place.

Although I am not vegan, I am always eager to try unique dishes. The sunflower seed tuna burger at this restaurant was a bit messy to eat, but incredibly delicious! The kale salad was simple, but its texture complemented all the flavors in the sandwich perfectly. I will definitely return when I am in the mood for something fresh and flavorful! The Gangster dish also remains just as tasty and satisfying.
