Bidra med feedbackLittle italy is an authentic gem that is fucked into the quarters of baltimore. most restaurants are loaded with seafood, animal and animal product menus. the owners of germano 's piattini have disassembled by offering vegan and vegetarian a place to experience little italy. there are extensive vegan options that are clearly marked in the menu as well as a separate vegan section. we enjoyed the vegan cauliflower meatballs, flatbread and two pasta dishes all were delicious. spoke with the new manager and he is pleased to illuminate the vegan options, so we were excited to do our bit and show veg community support.
This place is a hole in the wall, literally. we had a reservation for a time frame and were not accommodated until 30-45 minutes later, also several people had the same reservation time as we. then, not to our food an hour later. the owner did not even want to take some of the bill for the inconvenience. I would never come back here again or refer this place to someone.
Valentine’s Day dinner was disappointing. The food was decent, but nothing special. One of our dishes wasn’t hot. The staff was so disorganized and unprofessional it was comical. The best analogy would be the keystone cops. Yelling at each other, forgetting who had what table, making comments about internal workings out loud so customers could hear. It was kind of like a comedy show. It wasn’t a horrible experience, but there are so many other better Italian restaurants in Baltimore’s Little Italy.
Went for lunch on Sunday. Waited for service as they did not open when they said they would
The food was delicious, and our server was nice and attentive, although he was a bit eccentric and a little unsure of the menu. The restaurant was very quiet and clearly it was a slow night. The vegetarian options were plentiful, and we had trouble choosing from many mouth-watering choices. To be completely honest, we were a little put off by the wobbly table, sticky floor, and overall casual decor for what we were expecting to be a fancier restaurant. However, we would likely return when willing to splurge on an expensive, but delicious meal. We were curious about the music venue upstairs, but there was no event that night and we never got a chance to talk to anybody about it.
