Laggan's Mountain Bakery - Banff

Coffee was weak and while the pastry selection was plentiful, it was less than tasteful.

Very good price and good amount of the food _We had 5 people , we ordered butter chicken ,turkey pie , pulled pork on rice and mac and cheese._Turkey pie

Immediate acknowledgement when you arrive, fast service to help you, and a huge spread of choices to TRY to choose from.

Lots of options and good prices the food was really lovely this is next to the tourist information visitor centre

There were several mile-long traffic jams on the Trans Canada west of Lake Louise, and we really needed something to perk us up. We were concerned about a line up that went out the door at Laggan's when we landed, but after a washroom break, the line up was gone! There was a little lineup when we went in ourselves, but that went really fast, and we got our order PDQ. I've never had a bad cup of coffee here, and today was no different. All the food was good too, and staff were friendly. My only reservation here is that they do seem to be coasting. It's the same food, the same decor it's always been. No surprises. The place seems to be showing some wear and tear (a bathroom was out of order). If they offered something unique and special, this place would be excellent with a plus very easily.
