Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I had a wonderful dinner! I got the ahi tuna, which was perfectly seared and tasted amazing. Her lobster alfredo was stuffed with big pieces of lobster. Finished the meal with a sensational creme brulee. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Can't believe we haven't been here before. But we'll definitely be going back!
It's not good, just skip it. There are a bunch of great places to eat in downtown Bangor, some in the immediate vicinity. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the visual aesthetics are good. The restaurant used to be a bank and they lean into it, including the original bank vault, which is cool. Some of the food looks good, but the taste is bad. The charcuterie board is an excellent example of this. Their menu items are also mislabeled with their Risotto really being paella. I sent it back when it came since it wasn't what I ordered. Their second attempt was a burnt piece of chicken parm that looked and tasted like it came from an elementary school cafeteria. The service was awful with our waitress disappearing for large stretches of time and then doing little to address our disappointment. Avoid this place and treat yourself to a good dinner elsewhere.
Dear Evenrood, Thank you for last night. It was a beautiful thing we shared. From the ambiance to the Black bear blue shine to the spinach strawberry salad to the lobster Alfredo, it was one fine idea from you after another. Your chef is working hard to bring elevated fresh food with an individual touch and I really appreciated the effort. And that?s not to say that my meat-and-potatoes partner didn?t find your burger divine, ?cuz he did. Staff was attentive and quite pleasant even when one of our party sent back a meal, not charging us and reassuring us that you were only concerned that we enjoy our evening. You left us with a lovely impression of Bangor. Thank you!
Delicious food, wife had the risotto w/ chicken , I had the chard scallops. Incredible draft beer from maine breweries selection. Try the double iPa ale. . . Swish. We didn't have room, but squeezed in a lil chocolate mousse vanilla creme Brule. Service was great. Sadly we dined with the whole restaurant to ourselves at 6 pm on a Wednesday. I've had enough of this pandemic so have our local businesses so please do your part to support them.
After reading reviews and checking out the menu, we drove to Evenrood expected there was a long waiting time to take place. We were pleasantly surprised that we were sitting right away. Nearby there was live music that was added to an already large outdoor seating area. The food was delicious and more than enough to make sure we leave full with our belly nabel. We'll be back.
