Bidra med feedbackThe food was on the average side. The French Onion Soup was overwhelmingly salty, while the Trouser Trout was satisfactory. The restrooms were extremely cramped, and there was a long line stretching out to the parking lot. I unfortunately had to make do by the dumpster. The bartender had an attitude and was lacking any sense of humor.
We visited Stonewalls for our 29th anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. We arrived early, right after they opened. The food quality and service were exceptional. We started with the mushroom appetizer. I had the NY strip steak with a Caesar salad and creamed spinach, while my wife ordered the filet with a lobster addition and baked potatoes. My steak was cooked to perfection. If I had any complaint, it would be about the Caesar salad, as it seemed to fall short compared to the other dishes; perhaps the dressing was not homemade. The service was outstanding. The price was on the higher end, but it was worth every penny. We will definitely return.
The best meal we had in Banner Elk! The atmosphere may feel a bit dated, but it's very cozy. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding, and the drinks were enjoyable, especially their impressive bourbon selection. The deviled eggs were exceptional. I've heard the chef is famous for his desserts, so be sure to save some space for that!
We met with friends in the Banner Elk area and ate dinner here. Our waiter was excellent as well as the food. We had been there before and our experience was the same.
Very accommodating team. We had a large family and there wasn't a hitch. Servers were great at all our tables. Great place to dine.
