Acadian Boat Tours - Bar Harbor

Great boat tour to a great value! With the rain finally clear, we decided to go on the sunset cruise. The captain and naturalist on board made a very informative and fun cruise around Bar Harbor. The views were even better. On the two of our sunsets we have a bit to watch the sunset while we see port seals, gray seals, poroses and many kahle eagles. Good price! In any case, the cheapest option in the Bar Harbor area AND you do not have to deal with the parking in the city center.

Had an excellent 2-hour sunset cruise with Acadian Nature Tours (one of multiple? operations using this dock). We cruised past the porcupine islands and out to a bit past egg island, and circled around it checking out the seals and the lighthouse, with plenty of fun facts about all sorts of things as we went. We cruised back and parked near some feeding porpoises to watch the sunset, and then cruised back under the last reflected light under the clouds. Great tour, highly recommend.

Great tour! Staff was friendly and highly knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the different islands and lighthouses along the tour. A Bald Eagle flew right over our heads as we waited to board the boat. Saw many birds, including Puffins and Terns, and seals at Egg Rock Lighthouse. Brief shower, but were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow. Dress warm and bring binoculars, or a long lens for camera.

Great cruise. We did the sunset cruise. Mid- August, so the boat left around 6pm. The sun was setting around 745pm, so it was a beautiful 2 hour ride. The boat captain did a great job aligning the boat so both sides of the boat could see the attractions...lighthouse, seals, land formation, and sunset. The crew did a great job narrating the ride. Well worth the money.

Took the lighthouse and nature tour today. Didn’t know what to expect but I will tell you, it was one of the best tours I have been on! The guide was hilarious with all his dad jokes, the lighthouses were amazing, saw lots of seals and porpoises. I highly recommend this tour!
