The website mentions that they often accommodate kids as young as 4, and I was initially skeptical. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find they had the right size gear for my tiny 5-year-olds. They genuinely have everything needed to help young children climb and truly enjoy the experience. My three kids—5-year-old twins and a 7-year-old—have very different personalities, but our guide, Murphy, quickly figured them out. He interacted with each of them like a long-lost friend while keeping them safe at the same time. The climbing site he chose was perfect for them; they were able to reach the top after just a try or two, and the joy of that achievement is something they will always remember. My husband and I used to climb before having kids, and we appreciated the refresher course that Murphy provided, along with the engaging conversation and the chance to try climbing ourselves. However, this trip was primarily for the kids, and it definitely met our expectations. If I have one regret, it’s that we only booked a half-day instead of a full day, as the kids wanted to continue and explore more. Thank you, Murphy, and Atlantic Climbing School!

From the moment we made our reservation to the time we reached the climbing spots, this team was incredibly organized and efficient. We had our hearts set on climbing Otter Cliffs, and they delivered flawlessly! Reed was an excellent guide, ensuring that we had a fantastic time while prioritizing our safety.

Everyone at ACS is professional, friendly, and truly passionate about what they do. This experience has become one of our favorite family memories. As novice rock climbers, we felt safe, empowered, and comfortable thanks to the team (Kincaid). Be sure to make a reservation in advance; you won't be disappointed!

Wow! Our 4 and 6 year olds LOVED IT!!!! What an amazing experience !! Our guide Mike made our kids feel like professionals and included them every step of the way! Really, this is a must do and such a unique amazing experience! From my initial phone call, to safety, our guide, and location everything was 100%. Families do not miss out on this while visiting Acadia. We chose the 1/2 day starting at 1:30 and things could not have been more perfect!!
