Harbor Historical Society - Bar Harbor

Really such an amazing piece story to visit! this immaculate house has so many stunning details to admire! the crown-formling alone had taken so much work to the finish! the whole house is absolutely beautiful, and I am so glad that it is preserved and that the historical society is ready to share the art of crafts and beauty of this house with visitors and future generations!

In addition to the stunning view, there is a lot to explore and enjoy at the restaurant, including a unique gift shop tucked away in the corner.

Many history of bar harbor againstd. very friendly and competent staff. guided tour led us about 3 hours.

I love this museum! it was beautiful and well maintained. the ground was also spectacular! the personal was super helpful and answered our questions. if they are looking for history over bar harbor, they make this a priority!

Thus is an amazing place and we came with less than 15 minutes before closing. They were gracious and let us go through the beautiful ace without rushing or making us feel guilty for making them stay late. An absolute gorgeous walk back in time.
