Surprisingly took one of my friends who was vegetarian we loved the food. The Bhel was pleasantly delicious so was the Daal Tadka Spiced Okra. Well done guys. Will be back soon
I recently visited this restaurant along with my family for dinner during VIVID Sydney. We reached there a bit earlier before our reservation and requested the Manager if he could accommodate us, but he politely turned us down (it's understandable as the restaurant was full and there was no seating available!! We waited for some more time and our table was ready by that time. Even though the seating was outside and was a very cold windy night, we were warm and comfortable because of all the heating. The food was very delicious and service was super quick. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
The booking experience was straight forward and our table was ready when we got there. The food was delicious and customer service was great. The staff were attentive to our order. The ambience was pretty good. It was our anniversary dinner, I did expect a better table location given that we were asked for the reason for the visit at the time of booking (i.e. birthday, anniversary etc). That's only a minor thing, we still had a good time and enjoyed the food immensely. Won't mind visiting again.
We walked in for lunch on Saturday and there was ample seating available at Spice by Billus’s. All the neighbouring restaurants had people lining up to be seated. We found our experience very underwhelming and disappointing. The decent dish we ate was the papdi chaat. Unfortunately it went quite downhill from there. The tandoori platter was terrible. The worst part was the chicken which had absolutely no flavour whatsoever and tasted old. The lamb had no flavour either. The prawns were ok. The butter chicken tasted like a supermarket curry. The portion size was also tiny. The lacha paratha was good. Overall very disappointing. The staff especially the manager in the suit looked like they’d rather have been anywhere else but there. Won’t rush back.
