Sbarro - Barboursville

I was in town to visit Billy Bob's Wonderland, the last existing remnant of ShowBiz Pizza Place. However, that didn't stop me from stopping by Sbarro, the original mall pizza brand. The mall opened about an hour before Billy Bob's down the road, so I took a quick stroll and did some shopping at a few stores. That seemed like a good excuse to treat myself to a side of garlic knots and a Dr. Pepper. Since I arrived right when they opened, I didn’t have to worry about the food being stale. While Sbarro locations might be everywhere, they’re consistently reliable. I’d definitely return!

On March 31, 2023, around 3:00 PM, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The manager was rude and yelling at an employee, which made me uncomfortable. When I mentioned this to him while he was ringing me up, he started arguing with me. He accused me of being rude and told me I wasn't welcome back. His arrogance was striking, and his behavior reminded me of a child throwing a tantrum. I've since contacted the corporate office and am awaiting a return call. It's unfortunate that he seemed to think his position as a fast food manager made him important, when in reality, he came across as quite unprofessional.

I'm thrilled that the four cheese white pizza is back! It's my favorite, and you always exceed my expectations.

They close at 9pm but at 7:50 they had no pizza and we’re not making anymore

The service was terrible. Three people in line and the workers were dismissive of us. When I got my Stromboli, I thought the cheese was tasteless and oddly textured, however it was the uncooked dough. The outside was burnt, inside was raw and there was little inside other than the dough. This was my worst experience with a pizza place so far. I will not return and I urge you to try another place in this mall.
