Cadaques - Barcelona

First of all the server forced us to order 4 tapas minimum in order to receive the place. Tapas is expensive and of bad quality. Too much oil is used for the fried tapas (don’t order the eggplant or calamares! and it does not taste fresh at all. Only tasty thing is olive.

The atmosphere at the square is good. But we waiting for the table 30-40 mins in hopes we would get good tapas. But unfortunately the food was kinda gross and over fried. After I opened google I saw how many bag reviews this place had and understood this was not only my bad experience. After getting served bag food the server refused to take it back to the kitchen or take it off the check. Wouldn’t recommend this place unfortunately. Plus it’s overpriced

Avoid this place! We are from Barcelona and thought we’d stop for a drink while in Gracia. We were asked to order a minimum of 3 tapas (a bit weird, but OK since it’s Barcelona in August all for supporting local businesses)… MOST overpriced, tasteless food you’ll ever have in Barcelona!
