Bidra med feedbackOnly noticed this restaurant as the large gates were open and initially only entered to look at the menu. Moments later we are seated and then realised it was Michelin listed. Initially we were brought a choice of taster starters which were very nice and a glass of sparkling wine. We then only had one main dish each although many other guests were having various. My wife's duck was excellent but my tuna was boring and almost none existent. On complaining the chef made me a local white fish dish which was excellent. Didn't charge any extra or make a fuss, dealt well with my issue. Only thing that did annnoy me, which wasn't the restaurants fault, was the amount of dushes ordered by some customers and then never eaten, what a waste of good food.
I had a chance to taste a supper in this restaurant... I loved the fiorentina, which is a huge slide of beef... Guys, it's worth to spend a couples of hours in this place... The owner is extremely friendly...
Had a fabulous lunch with Massimo Lanini his lady, even met the chef, Antonio Pulini, who did a bang-up job; the menu was all new to us, and apparently many of the items are special for each day, reflecting Massimo's Tuscan roots, and the Puglese sensibilities of his lady and Pulini—fun! One of my favorite meals in years. We asked Massimo to provide wine by the glass to accompany our dishes; he did, and gave us an education as we went; he has a marvelous wine collection and knowledge and enthusiasm to fit. They keep a library of food and wine books on each table. I flipped over the rabbit appetizer, which I ordered for my 2nd course: very special. Note that the restaurant is part of the Hotel Rondo, and the hours fit. Very comfortable.
Ristorante fantastico. Propone una cucina molto ricercata e di livello altissimo. Lo staff è cordiale e molto attento. Tutto quello che abbiamo assaggiato è andato oltre ogni aspettativa, dal benvenuto fino al dolce. Consigliatissimo a chi vuole provare una esperienza di cucina diversa da quella normalmente proposta a Bari. Ci tornerò molto presto!
L'ambiente raffinato all'interno dell'hotel Rondò è molto bello e pulito; le pietanze speciali sono ottime e le porzioni sono misurate perfettamente per me, quindi non occorre condire ulteriormente. Un piatto di orecchini, un bicchiere di vino, pane con olio e dolci costa €20, un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo per me.
