Foxglove - BARMOUTH

This restaurant offers a beautiful intimate atmosphere and friendly attentive service. Each dish is prepared and presented with pride and skill. If you are in the Barmouth area or planning a holiday there, be sure to check it out.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival at the restaurant, which was surprisingly dog-friendly. Our furry companions were provided with a personal water bowl and a spot on the deck to relax. Throughout our meal, we noticed three other tables with dogs that were also made to feel welcome. The host clearly has a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests. The drinks were well-crafted and the food was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes, some of which were unique to the area. The leeks were a standout dish. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience, we only wish we could have stayed longer! Special thanks to Anthony, Luke, and our pups Harley and Corrie.

My partner, parents, and I visited this restaurant on Saturday and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and creative without being pretentious. We had a fantastic time, the service was excellent, and we enjoyed learning about the ingredients, many of which were sourced locally. We will definitely be returning soon!

We went here for our team night and were all blown away from all the experience. the service was presented with the owner who took time to explain the dishes and ingredients, and eating, prepared and cooked by the other owner, was delicious and beautiful. we all tried that we had not before! the wee the week was an orange wine that was also beautiful. the restaurant is small, so they should definitely book as they are busy.

No matter your dietary preference, you must must must visit Foxglove. Unbelievably delicious food, perfect cosy setting and utterly charming host chef duo (plus dog Antonella and partner have created something truly special. Fine-dining without the price tag. An incredible array of tastes, textures, colours etc., really creative and unique dishes. Can’t wait to come back
