Millway Beach - Barnstable

A beautiful place to come. I am visiting from out of town and walked to a local coffee shop. One of the locals there told me I needed to walk over to this beach! I was so excited and walked over (about 15 minute walk from Nirvana Coffee). It was a nice walk and the beach was well worth it. Not too busy. Met some friendly people.

A very nice destination along the bay. Never new this or other beaches in this area even existed. It was a very nice surprise and do plan too return when it warms up a bit. The sand was very nice and the area was clean.

Beautiful residential only beach. You can park down the street at a local restaurant if you aren’t walking. A great place to see the sunset. No waves here so great for tots and littles to explore and try out the ocean. In low tide you can walk almost a quarter mile out. Recommend for a quick stop or a calm place to go.

There are a lot of beaches in cape cod to choose from, but this relatively small beach is very special. With Barnstable harbor close by, restaurant and clam shack, this beach is a favorite destination for us. Have dinner and walk the beach and see excellent sunsets, or grab take out at the nearby clam shack and lay a blanket on the beach, letting the kids play in the shallow pools catching hermit crabs when the tide is out. Not usually crowded, so you can find quiet space to relax and take in the wonderful scenery.
