Ciao Baby! - Barrington

What a fantastic place! We met two other couples for lunch and had a delightful experience. The restaurant wasn’t too busy during the day, allowing us to relax and chat for a few hours without feeling rushed. The antipasto salad we ordered was enormous, so we ended up sharing it among three people because we couldn't finish it. While $23 might seem a bit pricey for a salad, it was packed with artichokes, cheese, and various cured meats. They also served warm bread alongside our pasta and salads. The chicken sandwich looked incredible, and the slice of carrot cake was enough to share among six people. We will definitely be coming back. The service was exceptionally friendly!

The food, service, and cleanliness are always exceptional! This year, I organized a surprise dinner for my mother's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our larger group with outstanding service and, as always, delicious food. She was truly surprised, and the balloons were a lovely touch. Thank you!

Be cautious when you order here because you might think you’re getting Italian sausage, but it could turn out to be Polish sausage instead—you know, that’s just how they label things there. Who knows what else they misrepresent? Bill, are you really saying that those red and yellow, thick-fleshed baby peppers were cubanelle peppers? As an Italian who is familiar with both Melrose and cubanelle peppers, I can assure you that both varieties should be longer and thinner-skinned, with a less sweet flesh than what I received. I’ve enjoyed your Melrose peppers when they're in season, and they are indeed good, but don’t try to pass off these mini peppers as either Melrose or cubanelle. Your chalkboard advertises MELROSE STUFFED PEPPERS, but you should really change it to Mini Stuffed Peppers. People would still order them, but please stop the misleading advertising!

One of our favorite places! The food is excellent, the portions generous, the ambiance is calm and quiet, and the service is consistently top-notch.

Lovely little Italian spot in downtown Barrington. The staff are friendly, the ambiance is great and the food was delicious. Service is done at an authentic Italian pace so don't expect to eat and go quickly. Kid-friendliness: Their 10 pizza was great for my 4 year old.
