Lola’s Kitchen - Barstow

The food here is fantastic. It is a super small restaurant but does offer take out. But watch out or you will miss it. It is located in a strip mall.

Pros: Food is amazing, no doubt. Great staff! Can place order over phone and dine in. Cons: they charge you for using your debt card (which by law is illegal, only credit cards can have surcharge) , prices are expensive… Plate of food with drink will run you $23+ per person.

The food was delicious! It was pretty busy on a Monday night, which I took as a good sign and I was right.

Definitely try it out! I'm not yet very familiar with Mexican food, but I really liked Lola's. The food is simple, but prepared with care, fresh and very aromatic without being over-seasoned. The service is very friendly and also caters to individual wishes. We really enjoyed eating here. The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer a few vegetarian dishes.
