Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Barstow

I noticed a sign at the order counter promoting a 5-piece dinner for two at $12.99. When I tried to place my order for it, I was informed that I needed a code to get the deal. I pointed out that there was no mention of a code anywhere on the sign. Unfortunately, the cashier insisted that I couldn't purchase the dinner without one. I was really disappointed and won't be returning.

I had a disappointing experience at this Popeyes. They forgot my dipping sauce and both sides for my 5-piece tender meal. I ordered lemonade but received sweet tea instead. My friend James's shrimp meal tasted as if it had been microwaved. The service at the drive-thru was very unprofessional. It seems like someone is getting paid way too much for the level of service provided. I won’t be returning to this location, especially since this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered issues here.

I love Popeyes, so this situation really disappoints me. I ordered a 36-piece nugget, and after running my credit card, I realized I was charged for a 24-piece instead. I pointed out the mistake, and the employee had to check with a manager. She said they would add a 12-piece to make it the same price. They did, but it ended up costing me $1 more than the 36-piece. It's not a huge difference—36 pieces cost $15.99, a 24-piece is $10.99, and a 12-piece is $5.99. After I showed them the math, they essentially told me the order was in and that there are no refunds. I requested a drink to make up for the difference, and they initially hesitated but finally handed me a small children's drink. It just feels so ridiculous!

This was the first time my family had ever had Popeyes. The only reason I gave 1 star was because the food was decent. That was the only saving grace of this place. My daughter's and my mother both went into the restroom and couldn't believe the mess.Sinks were disgusting. The large waste baskets in the bathroom was overflowing. There was a dirty diaper left on the changingstation. Toilet paper was all over the place. Before eating, my sister n law asked for a rag to wipe off the tables because noneof them were clean enough to eat at. I'm surprised we were even able to keep an appetite because of how filthy it was. When toldabout the bathroom, the gal was just interested in taking our orders. When we asked for a rag to clean, the girl/mgr mentionedthey were short staffed that day. I understand this under the circumstances the world has been in the last few yrs, but that'sno excuse to let the facility get as gross and repulsive as it was. I'm surprised they passed the health department standards.Will never go back there. Would rather get bit by a gilla monster than to force ourselves to eat this again.

The fries were overpriced, but the Classic Chicken Sandwiches were quite affordable considering their size. The nuggets were reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be skipping the fries next time.
