Pop's Comfort Kitchen - Bartlett

I tried pops because it's in the neighborhood and wanted something else. I ordered the pasta dish. it was so spicy that you couldn't eat it. I thought it was just me. I'll let five different people try. all said the same. also the fritted fish tried. was not properly cooked. I do not think that the restaurant will be longer with the type of food they serve humans.

Ordered eating by doordash. I wanted to try this place since I was here. Originally everything seemed good; but I'm very upset. the biggest reason is that I am in bed with what I believe is food poisoning. my fish was delicious until I got into my second piece and noticed that it was pink. it tasted muddy, but honestly I was hungry and that fish fry batter was nicely spiced. my crisp cabbage was burned and had no real taste. the greatest farewell was the peach-cobbler. it was freezing and doughy. the pfirsiche were hard, not tender. they should let them know that they must cook their dessert before they eat. if that was not the case, someone owes me a statement. did it come out of the freezer? is it commercial? just what the food deserves a 1 star is the loaded potato soup. my boy enjoyed it and I too. as I said that fish was good, just undercooked and I am positiw, so I feel sick, unfortunately excluded from leaving.

First time we've tried this restaurant and we're pleasantly pleased. Take out ordered at the counter took less than 15 minutes. The young lady taking our order was very polite, knowledgeable and patient. Two orders of chicken and dumplings with side's was a lot of food and OH so good.we will be back thank you.

Great food. I had the loop tie spagetti and roast squash and cabbage..will be back! by far the best house cooked food in memphis. Three times ordered. Love the salmon croquettes...loaded potato soup.Nothing is bad here.oops except the corn..not good..dont order...es canned! grilled cheeses are great.

That was great. they have some of the best home cooking. they also do some amazing things. tonight they donated a part of all meals to a local pathfinder. that goes beyond and beyond the commitment of the community. I highly recommend them.
