Seafood Ketch - Bass Harbor

We spent days in spots in harbor bar to scratch what we hoped to find. . and then we found bass harbor and the ketch. great vibes, (we had wandered all day and they treated us like we go every week there), best lobster roll that we together with the best price, huge portions and all around delicious and amazing! our waitress was the bomb and had great advice for our trip and the sunset was spectacular.

Great outsight, advise garlic steamed muscheln is the best cure of the day, fresh, tasty, full taste. seafood sandwich is good, as well as the sweet potato chips. lobster marinara is a little clear, and huge thumbs up for the broth, freshly baked and fluffy.

The best Calamari we had on the island. My wife enjoyed her fish sandwich a lot; my seafood sandwich was decent, but nothing to wear at home. Chowder was okay. Children? Fish (shock) and chips lunch was good. We sat outside the docks; the view was wonderful when we watched the tern circle and fish in the port. The service was okay.

Delightfully hidden on the way to the Bass Harbor Light, Seafood Ketch is a family owned and operated seafood restaurant. They give a whole new meaning to from trap to table as the dock is just ahead on the water. The chef is happy, proud of what he creates and willing to come out when he can and talk to the customers. We had the scallops, seafood salad and the heavenly calamari.
