New Moon Vegan - Batavia

We loved the cozy bakery/cafe, friendly staff, and the wonderful variety of fresh flavors in sweet and savory pastries. We tried two flavors of donuts and two flavors of focaccias, but there is so much more!

Cozy bakery that uses fresh, seasonal produce and always has something new to try! The donuts are a must!

Jo and Jay were absolutely phenomenal hosts to this lovely establishment. They both take part in making their own vegan dishes and it’s nothing less than amazing. You can taste the pure “made with love” ingredients in every bite of everything you eat! Everything is very original in their own way with a touch of New York since that’s where they are from. The Staten breakfast sandwich is different yet so delicious in its own way! I cannot wait to try the Friday Saturday menu because they have donuts!!!!!! ALL VEGAN.

It's always good to see new vegan establishments starting up in the Western suburbs of Chicago. They have great pastries.

We have had nothing but amazing dishes from New Moon in the past few years. The owner and staff are fantastic, and although it's a bit out of the way for us, it never fails to impress. The new location is well-designed, and we hope they continue to attract a lot of customers and can extend their opening hours.
