Bidra med feedbackGreat location, with views of the Roman baths and steps from the bath abbey. nice personal and delicious food. not too expensive. we ordered the fish and chips and the portions were huge!
Absolutely delicious! Memorable. My husband is vegetarian and they offer some excellent options. I had butternut squash soup and they made it to perfection. Recommend you leave room for desert the chocolate brownie steeped in cherries and honeycomb ice cream is divine!
The best restaurant in Bath. Fish of the day was excellent: nothing overcooked, the fish tasted fresh, the long green beans al dente, the small new potatoes, the delicious mussel sauce. The three sorbets scoops (raspberry, lemon, mango) were really well prepared. And topped with very friendly service, and cosy surroundings and atmosphere. I will not forget the great Chilean red wine.
As the year comes to a close and I reflect on 2015 while eagerly anticipating what 2016 will bring, one standout experience from 2015 is our trip to England. I’ve been meaning to write about our visit to Bath for a while now, always thinking I needed more time to do it justice. However, since we haven’t traveled anywhere new or tried any new recipes lately, I’m just going to dive right in and share my experiences in Bath. I usually find it difficult to pick a favorite movie, song, cookie, or, in this case, vacation day, but I can confidently say that Bath was definitely among the top two day trips we took from London.
The location is fantastic, and the service is excellent, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It's not the most affordable dining option, but dining outside near the cathedral, across from the Roman baths, offers a delightful experience. You can enjoy some delicious food while local street musicians perform with their lively music in the afternoon. I highly recommend it—it's a must-visit spot in Bath!
