Auberge de la Vallee Bistro - Bathurst

The fish chowder was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. I would definitely return! The sofa chairs were a bit low, but the pillows provided some extra comfort.

This restaurant is conveniently located but is so well hidden that many locals are not aware of it. Most restaurants in Bathurst are too expensive, but this one offers the best value. The owners are from Europe, giving the place a beautiful European feel. They cater to the ATV crowd, which is not my preferred crowd, but overall it is a good place and I would stay there again.

This small and cozy restaurant is situated in a lovely spa surrounded by trees. They offer a variety of nutritious meals and have a welcoming staff.

Would never return. Manager has zero customer service skills. The 'bistro ' is only open when convenient. It is rudimentary as a Bistro to say the least... there are plastic containers with old cereal in them and a mess of small items like cookies/muffins. no fresh...food was available at the times i wished to eat so pretty useless for customers. Seems like a personal project of management and not built with customers in mind.

Booked a Mani/Pedi at the spa for my Mother and Daughter (3 yrs old). Upon arrival (at 2:30) my daughter changed her mind and was afraid of the spa room, staff were totally understanding and I really appreciated that. While my Mom was receiving her...service my daughter and I went down to the Bistro. She was hungry. There we found cereal dispensers, and pastries behind a glass display. The receptionist followed us into the Bistro, I asked if there was crackers and cheese to purchase and she replied No, we only open at 5pm I asked if I could purchase a bottle of water and a cookie (which was displayed) and was told No staff will be here at 5 . I was very surprised. This spa/bistro is in a very small community and as the food and drink were on display I was shocked that staff could not ring it up for us. This is not like any other Spa I have been to and the manicure my mother received, completely peeled off of three fingers the very next day. The spa tech was great, very friendly but after the other service and failure of the product, I will not return.
